I tried my hands with this famous platform over the 11/11 and Black Friday events. There are so many products to choose from with good promotional prices. In terms of functionality, the "add to cart" for variants is pretty cumbersome compared with other platforms such as Amazon or Shopify. But the shipping part frustrates me the most. It can get unnecessarily complicated and changes the shipping rate for no apparent reason.
Used to have one or another problem with sellers. Now about 15% of my purchases have some serious issue. The most common one being sellers using fake/"recycled" tracking numbers to scam the sellers. Aliexpress doesn't care if you received the package or not, only what a tracking number says. They don't even care if it says it was delivered on another city far away. I ordered some oscillating tool blades, but received 2 tiny useless pins in the order. The seller showed pictures of the package sent out, which was completely different from what I received. AliExpress refused to refund me. I suspect someone at AliExpress warehouse must have stolen the item and sent rubbish to me. This site cannot be trusted. Just don't buy from them. They are dishonest.

Don’t use this site. They may not send the item to you and they will refuse your refund as long as the seller shows them some photos of the item that’s sent out. Their warehouse is not reliable. They lose the item, but still take your money.

Never issued refund. Be aware of "Waiting For U Store" seller. Totally scam and fake. Seller knows that customer can't do anything. If you buy more than one product they will only mail out one and the cheapest one. Keep the money for expensive ones and never refund you your money back. Ali Express will close the dispute without refunding you. And there is no way to re-apply for dispute. I read reviews about other buyers too who got scammed.
SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! Ordered sweatshirts, finally received them, they were all significantly smaller than the tag indicated. The material was very cheap, plastic-feeling, and scratchy. Returns were a nightmare that have gone on for two months and still are not resolved. I attached one photo for an example, both shirts are labeled as size L (AliExpress item is on the left). Wish I could give it 0 stars.
Aliexpress were not fair at all. I sent them my discussion with the seller from the beginning That I want an item with these specification but the seller sent me completely something else(everything was sent to aliexpress team). They closed the dispute without any action.
As an advise: If you will buy something that is available from other websites don't buy anything from them. Because for me it is just like I throw my money. The shop name is A' COMPUTER'S Store

So stupid me bought a n64 game from them and I had problems from day one with it, it keeps turning on and off after 20 to 40 minutes of playing. They did offer a refund but it would've costed me over $20 to send back. Why should I pay anything out of pocket for a defective product? Never again will I trust them or aliexpress.

Aliexpress are ok until you have a problem. I have ordered many items from them over the years, but this appears to stand for nothing if a problem arises. Their after sales customer service is a mickey mouse operation, and is designed to make you give up. You will go around and round in circles with them, and not get anywhere. I have come to the conclusion that they don't like giving refunds if you've received the wrong item, or haven't received it. Their dispute process is painful and frustrating, and not worth doing business with them if they cant treat their customer in a more respectful fashion when a problem arises. Its not that they come across as rude when dealing with you, they just don't do it in an efficient manner, with as little stress to the customer as possible. Even when the Seller has agreed to a refund, Aliexpress seem reluctant to give one. My Live Chat Agent constantly kept asking me for screenshots, when all she had to do was look in my account to see messages between me and the Seller. They obviously want to make it a hard and painful process for you so that you give up. No ethics. Their Buyer Protection is useless.
I would advise that you also take a screenshot when you place your order, as I had a few instances where I didn't receive email confirmation for my orders, which was disconcerting and out of character, however when I looked in my Aliexpress account, it did show that order had been placed. I won't be doing business with them anymore as it was the last straw for me when I recently dealt with their inefficient customer service. They need to lift their game if they want their customers to respect them.
Never use this site! They send you broken stuff then will not refund your money! Ordered a piece and paid close to 200 US it arrived and never worked I sent it back under the "free returns" only to receive a email saying that the dispute has been resolved in the sellers favor with no explanation why! Now I'm out the $ and the piece i was trying to fix is in worse shape than when I started! I will be deleting my account and never purchase another thing from there again! The best is I can't write a review on the seller b/c I returned the item! Complete scam!

You can get scammed fairly easily on this site. I received the wrong item a red cloud necklace instead of the 20 cm Black Knight that I paid for. I got rid of the packaging of the necklace and AliExpress made no attempts to follow up with the seller. They just denied a refund. Use another website if possible. Their cheap costs come at a price: time and reliability.

Always, ALWAYS keep the packaging. You'll need it if there's a fault or it's not the right item.

Multiple times paid for goods seller never sent. Dispute process complicated and you end up losing your money anyway since the seller has to agree to refund you even though Aliexpress says they will handle the dispute directly if you ship via Aliexpress. Completely fraudulent sellers and platform. They know it's too much trouble for you to dispute each item in an order.

The cheap quality goods are not worth the headache to deal with fraudulent sellers on a fraudulent platform. The actual items are cheaply made and grossly misrepresented by seller photos 99.9% of the time!!

Bought two shirts both of them were the size of a toddler when they were supposed to be adult 3x. Returnef the shirts and never received a refund from either vendor. I ordered 100 protective goggles so that I can donate them to local hospital. The order was made on Apr 3 but I still haven't gotten them yet as of May 10. To make it worse they don't even know where the package is. Their record shows a part or full of the package is returning to seller?.
Yet Aliexpress is asking me to wait until Jun 15 ( more than 70 days?) without assuring it will arrive. Are you serious? Aliexpress already created so much problem for my plan. They should refund and compensate for my loss of time. I CAN'T even move on because of this stupid limbo situation.
It is now December 2. I ordered an expensive watch on September 17. It arrived at New York customs on October 14. Seven weeks later the package has still not made it to me. I initiated a dispute with AliExpress on the earliest date I could, December 1. AliExpress responded that it was my problem and that they would release payment to the seller in five days. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company and hope they can get AliExpress to do the right thing.

Aliexpress is known for its insanely low prices but do not be fooled by the photos on the website! Although everything is an abnormally low price, 90% of the time, the things you order will not look exactly like they do in the photos or will be of poor quality. I live in New Zealand and the shipping often takes extremely long too (ie. 3-6 weeks) so don't order anything off this site if you are looking for it to arrive immediately. The website is good if you're looking for cheap dupes of certain designer items or expensive products.
Site has way too many fake sellers. There is way too much scams going on. A lot of waste of time with them always. I received like 10% of what I order and have to wait months to receive it usually. After about 100 orders ready to give up on them. Honestly had a much better experience on E-Bay.
Also their customer service is not the best, their bot takes way to long to figure out it needs to relay the inquiry to an actual CSR.

Just don't, if you do be very careful and look at the reviews of the stores, for some reason AliExpress does not remove stores with horrible reviews for months

I ordered motorcycle turn signals. Immediately after placing the order (i. E., less than five minutes) I notified them that I'd erroneously ordered the wrong parts and asked to cancel the transaction. I received a nonsensical response from the ALI website that didn't respond to my question. I then followed up several times - but zero response. They did charge my credit card however. Aliexpress protects stealers like ZB Medicament Store. They stole 65 euros for shipping method that I never chose! Do never chose AliExpress! Vendors abuse with their clients and customers are not protected at all!

Vendors abuse with customers regarding the color, the number the size of the products, but the biggest awful steal is that they change the delivery method against customers agreement. The store had the nerve to refuse a refund even though I had not received it, but AliExpress was lightning fast in resolving the dispute and I had the refund on my card the very next day. I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.
No customer service. Some sellers are dishonest. No way to recoup your money for items never sent. Bogus tracking information since no custom number unavailable. Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.
There is no customer service what so ever so be very careful when buying on AliExpress. Buyer protection is a load of BS and if problems arise with your order they will always side with the seller. I would suggest using a shop that someone that you know has already used to purchase hair.
