I feel like you don't know a business until you've had a problem with them. I was really annoyed because I ordered a glass bowl and it arrived totally shattered because it was packed so poorly. But I'm still leaving a four star review because of how the issue was handled. I contacted them through their chat function and was promptly apologized to and given a refund without having to go through the hassle of returning the shattered item. Therefore, in spite of the packing mishap, I will definitely continue giving them my business.

I purchased a roll of Sequin Wallpaper for $88.99, for the smallest wall in my house, and it wasn't enough to cover it! Its all patched, looks like Hell! So disappointed! Just to point out, I needed 92' x3 strips to cover this small wall, it only did 2x 92' and 45'... Imagine how that Pissed Me Off! I am sooooooo Not Happy with this tiny $88.99 roll of Wallpaper from Bed Bath & Beyond!

I purchased curtains and I can't find my receipt I went in. One package was open and the other was not. Because Adriane said she does not carry that length she would not even give me store credit. I had to go find another Bed Bath and Beyond. Rather surprising the terrible customer service. I am a member as well. Super disappointed. The s is the first bad review I have ever written about any business.
This is the second time I made a purchase from this company and it was as disappointing as the first one.
Problems: 1) Never received an email with confirmation of purchase. 2) Merchandise shipped came in an open box. 3) Missing 2 of the 4 wood chip containers shown at time of purchase. 4) Customer service agent was from India or some other country. Polite but impossible to understand and connection was terrible. Hopefully the agent will have missing parts sent to me.

My experience was in my opinion criminal. I ordered comforter online, my card was charged but the order vanished. I have yet to get any logical response as to what happened so they basically stole $459. Sitejabber is misleading the public by showcasing a rating of 4 stars! I have read so many reviews and have found only 2 that rate 4 stars. This site must be getting a kickback for showcasing a good rating. This is an extreme disservice
I have shopped at BB &B for years. But, unfortunately, their recent move to jump on the band wagon of punishing anything and anyone with conservative views is beyond my comprehension. When will the censorship and mistreatment of Christian conservative Americans stop.? Because they have become intolerant of our politics, I can no longer support this business. At some point we must fight back. This is my line in the sand. Good bye, Bed Bath & Beyond.
Don't know what happened to Bed Bath & Beyond. Going downhill. Returned 4 items have not received a refund after business 14 days after they received the items back. Keep getting excuses from their customer service people who are in another country and don't understand you or do you understand them. I want my money back for the 4 items that you received back in June. Will never order anything from them again online

I purchased a beautiful wamsutta bathroom rug from Bed, Bath & Beyond... the color is exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, the quality is substandard. The rug sheds terribly and I track it throughout my bedroom. I couldn't find it on my purchases to review, so I came to this site. It's disappointing, I love the color and size is perfect for my double vanity sink. Buyers beware of the quality you red receive.
I ordered a wall mirror which arrived promptly. However some of the wood pieces are not glued together and there are chips in the paint. I attempted to go online to return and keep receiving a notice that they do not recognize my order #, zip code or email. All of which exactly matches the confirmation email they sent when I placed the order. I called the 800 # and the wait time is over an hour. This is ridiculous. I should not have to jump through hoops to return a defective product.
Discontinuing MyPillow because it's an underperforming product? But you still sell As Seen on TV junk that doesn't do what the ads state or break the first time you use it? THOSE are underperforming products, not MyPillow! Let's face it - you caved in to the Cancel Culture! Leave politics out of your business. Fine if you want to browse in the store. But online purchase was a huge mistake. They are totally incompetent and chaotic. Amazon can deliver same bookcase in four days. These folks lost the first shipment, lied about expediting the second try, and also would not cancel the order... Could be a full MONTH to get a 4 day delivery item. I will not go near their brick and motar store either because of this foolishness.

Purchased a personalized mat online that came with smears and flecks all over it. How does something even get packaged looking like this? Also, was told I had to return it to the store, which is 40 minutes away...
*Was told I would receive a refund in 3-6 weeks on December 31st. Haven't received it yet. It is February 21st now. Never received the refund. Will never shop there again!
Tried on a slipper, didn't fit so started to try on another when a clerk came by and said "Don't try that on, it's unsanitary". She said I must buy first and return for refund if it doesn't fit. Wow! So I drove over to Kohl's and REI where I could try on several pairs until finally found what I wanted. No wonder Bed Bath and Beyond is going broke. Won't give them any business in the future!
I've used bed Bath & beyond online several times over the past couple years. It didn't work a few years ago and it still doesn't work today! This is the worst online store I've ever shopped at. The website needs a whole new facelift. It's slow, It doesn't work properly, And it's extremely frustrating to shop with them. Customer service is even worse, I was on hold for 30 minutes this week before someone answered support, Now I'm on hold with a chat bot for 20 minutes. On a good note the items and prices are decent but not worth all the hassle. This store is going to go out of business! I purchased this lamp which was a bit pricey now that I found out the crystals are plastic. Returns are inconvenient as well.

I returned an item on May 19, it is now June 2nd. They already have the return, but refuse to issue a credit to purchase something else because they are "Behind" 10 to 20 days? That is def not stepping up to the plate during a crisis and not good customer service. Plus, do not even bother trying to call - my battery died while waiting to speak to a customer service rep which is approx a 45 minute wait time.
First time ordering online from BB&B. Will NEVER do it again. Order 3 plastic shelf organizers, they sent me a pack of 3 frying pan protectors and a pack of Gerber baby t-shirts. Had my original invoice in box along with an invoice for the person who ordered the pot protectors... not sure who the baby shirts belonged to. They sent these 2 small items in a large box. They wouldn't send my actual order until I sent back the 2 other items. Finally, my actual order arrived. They sent my LARGE plastic shelf organizers in a flimsy plastic bag?!? Say what? They were all stacked and stuck together and the bottom one was cracked. I'm ticked beyond belief and will not even bother filing a return. I just don't want to deal with these incompetent imbeciles any longer.
You shipped to me 3 wastebaskets but I needed only 1 and I ordered same style 1 wastebasket, 1 tumbler and 1 lotion dispenser on March 30th. First time, they shipped to me a broken lotion dispenser. I called to their costumers service and they shipped to me two wastebaskets instead of a lotion dispenser. Now, I can not fix my set because they are out of stock. They are really disappointing a company!
We received a side table as a gift from our wedding registry. Obviously we had to open the box to get the product out. The product was severely damaged, which is disappointing but that would be fine if their customer service hadn't been so awful. They would not ship us a box to ship it back in, instead saying we had to buy the box and they'd reimburse us in store credit... for our wedding gift... anyhow, somehow we will try to get them to replace it but we are removing their store from our registry and recommend nobody else use them as well

Bed bad and beyond, they offer you a membership for discounts but at the end they still ripp you off, for example i bought a stand, regular price was $599, with their membership $480 plus taxes, but exactly the same stand is on amazon and target for $375 lol, and i check other items and is the same, my bad that i look it up too late after i already bought it at bed bad and beyond, i recommend everybody before buying anything here, check prices somewhere else.
Went online to buy a vacuum, and saw a great price. Was offered a huge discount if I provided my email address for "future offers" so I bit. Went back to buy the vacuum and the price suddenly went up 30% - totally wiping out the discount. Not only that, I immediately started receiving more than 20 junk emails every day. My wife USED to shop there a lot... I spent my $300 on Amazon.
I have planned to register for baby gifts at Bed Bath & Beyond, but because you use a third-party shipping company that allows items to sit at their facility for days/weeks past expected delivery date, I've decided to register elsewhere. The OnTrac reviews for Boise, ID alone should tell you just how awful they are.
We bought a 14-piece set of Rachel Ray Hard Enamel Nonstick Aluminum Cookware and the stockpot was defective. The lid won't seal because the pot was misshapen when it was shipped to us. We contacted customer service when we noticed this defect and were offered a $15 credit for a pot that costs $39. We just wanted them to send us a new stockpot but customer service wouldn't answer our emails. We even sent pictures of the defect and still no answer. So we finally went to the store (120 miles away) to speak to them and the only way we could get a new stockpot was to return the WHOLE set. We will NEVER buy anything from Bed, Bath & Beyond again.
As if it wasn't odd enough already, today both OXO grinders were finally delivered by USPS. One shipping label was completely unreadable and showed a hand written remark "no scan" on it. The second label was fine. I contacted BB&B customer service by email and asked them to organize pick up of their two grinders at my house. To be continued...

So, after this more than disappointing and extremely annoying experience with Customer Service I was trying to close my account with BB &B, but no such thing on their homepage. Contacted BB&B per Email three days ago about my wish to close, but no success so far. They offered me a store coupon in the aftermath of this debacle in a separate email regarding my OXO Grinder shipment Odyssey, but I'm not going to do buy a thing from this failed business anymore. So, two stars for finally trying. A little too late, though Please, just close my account ASAP!
I ordered a grinder on December 31 that was supposed to be delivered guaranteed on January 5,2022. Until today I haven't received the order. I talked multiple times to customer service, they sent out a replacement that didn't arrive yet either. I requested a refund, because I ordered the same grinder for the full price on Amazon prime and don't need it anymore. The refund confirmation was sent to me but it wasn't actually cleared in their system, i. E. it wasn't okayed by the next higher level, even though they sent me a confirmation including a time frame when to expect the refund. I called again, talked to customer service again. Complained to the better business bureau as well. Now I'm waiting again for 5 days for my refund. This company is terrible. Customer service is not worth a penny. They just tell you what you want to hear, but they don't actually do anything other than self serving requests for a good review after the phone call. Today is January 14 and I'm waiting now for either the arrival of the product or finally getting my money back. This is not how you treat a paying customer!

Don't order stuff online from Bed Bath & Beyond. They obviously have seen better days. Don't use coupons, they'll just send your item with the cheapest and slowest delivery service out and it may or may not show up on your doorstep. Go to a company that goes through with reliable delivery and shipping within two days.
I ordered many times before and never had an issue before. This time they used a very slow shipping company, that has lost items with another company for Christmas cards before. They seem to either lose the packages or ship them super slow.
I'm saddened with Bed Bath & Beyond's mixing of politics and business, including the PC way in which BBBY messaged the My Pillow fiasco to the public. In this weird and hopefully temporary cancel culture, it seems certain businesses believe it's in their best interest to integrate the dubiously media-pumped political frenzy into their executive decisions instead of focusing on healthy business practices. BBBY like many companies has fallen victim to this fickle phenomenon. With BBBY's long-term downward trend (35% stock price decline over the past 5-years), can they really afford to jeopardize their consumer lifeline?
