“GlassesUSA has very poor quality control”

My glasses from GlassesUSA are ridiculously and obviously defective. They are rimless and the temples are mounted badly to the lenses such that one side goes up and the other side goes down making them sit on my face at an angle. I can't imagine how they got through any quality control. Because I live in Europe the cost of returning them and then paying another tariff of Euro 43 was not worth the trouble. A local optician did the best she could to make them wearable but they still look ridiculous.

This company has zero standard for quality. They are a fraud. My glasses finally arrived almost 5 weeks later completely misshapen with one of the arms stretched out so badly that it was pointing the wrong direction. They also only offer store credit if you've returned something before, which is super convenient for a company incapable of producing a quality product. Do not order from them.

My glasses from GlassesUSA are ridiculously and obviously defective. Tip for consumers:
Please note that the company responded to my review by offering a new pair of glasses for free and I am happy to report that the new glasses fit perfectly and conform to the prescription. Thank you very much. Glasses USA.

Prescription was ok but quality control on mounting of frames was extremely poor and the glasses sit crooked on my face.

I purchased a pair of Muse M Classic Purple/Green multicolor frames recently. The frames were delightful and very well constructed. So, I had no problem at all with GlassesUSA frames quality. My biggest issue/concern was how slow the shipping was... I'm talking about back in the day, old-school 2-to-4 WEEKS slow! **But maybe I was just impatient.** Still, I think the shipping should be faster so that the purchaser can enjoy or evaluate their product sooner, in-person.

Glassesusa.com has been so easy, convenient and money saving, I cannot recommend the site enough. The only downside to ordering glasses here is the inability to have the framed adjusted, which would have come in handy since my very expensive Ray-Ban's are too big, however with a few minutes online I was able to learn some hacks to fix this issue. Also, way cool that I can finally afford some Ray-Ban's. Great option and MUCH cheaper than ordering through your eye doctor.

I purchased six boxes of Acuvue Oasys contacts at a great price. Thankfully, GlassesUSA did not add that high percentage order processing fee that the other sites did and the final order was the best value, bar none. It did take two weeks to receive my order and it was worth the wait. Just make sure you're not on the verge of using your last contacts before placing an order. Great Value experience.

Lots of selection, easy to choose features of lens at check out. The pricing is confusing, as there are so many coupon offers and the website automatically changes price, it seems, based on... it is confusing. I appreciate the return policy. Thinking about either returning the pair I just bought (not this current order) or keeping them as back up. I have some days left to decide. Thanks.

I loved another pair of glasses, but they only had one color choice I didn't like. I'm not exactly happy with the pricing of the additional services for the lenses, because altogether it's too pricey. The app is pretty amazing though, hate the volume automatically turned up and woke up my kid when I was trying to do this quietly (my sound was initially on the quietest setting).

To be honest, there prices are way more cheaper than the stores. Quality wise its perfect for what you are paying regarding the lenses and the frame.
The only downside is that it takes almost two wks to receive the glasses. If you look at it from the other side youll note that you are paying half of what ure gonna pay in a store but you"ll have to wait for some time. It all depends on how fast do you want your glasses or lenses.
So please stop complaining abt this part.

Well everyone loves a deal, especially during the Pandemic. Although, it's kind of a disappointment that all the premium glasses hardly go on sale or that you can't apply discounts to such items. So, it gets a little pricey for the average shopper. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed with my order. Thanks!

Once! Found a frame I liked it was easy to go through the menu to pick my lens needs such as Progressives, Transitions, etc. Then sunglasses were in a different menu that was also easy to navigate where I got to choose color, gradient, non gradient, etc. Even with all the add ons the cost was cheaper that the Optometrist Shop. Great experience so far.

I've noticed the prices change whenever the page reloads. I cannot add items to cart unless I'm in "incognito mode" (after trying and failing with 3 other browsers). I needed to open 2 tickets to place my order, both representatives were amazing and I'd give them: 5/5 stars (amazing customer service!). After 2 days of trying to add items to cart I was able to place my orders. The process can definitely be improved.

This company might be ok if you never needed to contact them after the sale. Buyer beware should any issues arise. The returns policy is "14 Day 'no questions asked'" because nobody is available to ask & answer questions. When ordering glasses online, make sure you are ABSOLUTELY sure what you are doing.

Out of the two pairs of glasses I ordered, one arrived broken and the other in the WRONG frame. I have been waiting over three weeks to hear back from their "returns department." I had to file a complaint with the BBB to receive any answer from the company.

UPDATE: 5 weeks after placing my order, I received my glasses and was pleasantly surprised. Was it worth the wait? Still not sure. While you can order from GlassesUSA and save money while looking stylish, do realize that should anything go wrong, you will be waiting an awfully long time...

Tip for consumers:
Returns are a long process. Shipping was from Israel, so the return was very time-consuming. It took about five weeks to receive the correct pair of glasses I ordered. That's a long time to be without corrective lenses...And also without money, should you choose to shop elsewhere.

Dealing with them right now and thats a NO. Horrible customer service and they will loop hole you to no end so that they dont have to give you a refund on their product that does not work. My eyes literally work better without their glasses on my face.

Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner.
