My daughter lost her original pair of glasses that were less than 3 months old. Knowing insurance would not cover another pair, we chose to order through Zenni. She LOVES the glasses! She ended up finding the original pair after I ordered. Now she wears both, and you honestly can't tell the difference between the extremely expensive pair and the Zenni pair. I was nervous about ordering for a child, but it turned out great!

I have recently purchased 2 pairs of glasses to match a couple outfits, and most likely will buy more. As long as you have the full prescription from your eye doctor it's easy to order glasses. They are durable and darn cute. If a problem happens their customer service is great. Prices are fantastic which includes extra add on that would give you a $500 overall price at a optometrist office, but here you have half of that or less.

I have recently purchased 2 pairs of glasses to match a couple outfits, and most likely will buy more. As long as you have the full prescription from your eye doctor it's easy to order glasses. They are durable and darn cute. If a problem happens their customer service is great. Prices are fantastic which includes extra add on that would give you a $500 overall price at a optometrist office, but here you have half of that or less.

I've used Zenni for years. They've got great selections of regular prescription frames but I'd like to see more bifocal frame options. I love how they recommend the lens best for your prescription and frame. Not to mention their prices are affordable. **It'd help if they'd turn the "try on" with photos back on.

Tip for consumers:
make sure to check measurements of the frames you are wanting. My 1st order I didn't check them and my frames were way too big for me.

The prices and quality of their products are unbeatable! They have a great selection of frames, lenses and even tints to meet every unique style and need! Prism lenses; however, are limited to +5.00 (my son needs a +6.00), and their sunglasses variety is too limited for prescription progressives because they tailor their selection based in your PD (I love oversize sunglasses, but all the available options were too small for me.) but overall, Zenni is an excellent choice for budget yet great glasses!

The ability to get High quality prescription glasses at less than 1/10th of what I used to pay is amazing. Nearly all of the 8 pairs that I have purchased have been fantastic. And I've only spent about as much as I would have on a single pair at LensCrafters. I keep coming back for more, and taking advantage of their referral program to get my friends trying it out as well.

I bought my glasses from another company and found them a bit challenging in figuring out the distance between my pupils, the size would fit my face. By the time we went to order my daughter's glasses, we heard about Zenni. The website is so easy to navigate! Zenni made it easy to do measurements and "try on her glasses". The pair she ordered received are a great fit. We be back to look for pairs for family members.

A couple of my (adult) children have used Zenni Optical. I ordered progressive-lens sunglasses. Wow. The frame a top quality. The prescription is spot-on perfect. And the cost - well, that's the wow. Less than 1/3 what pretty much identical glasses would have cost if bought through my local "vision center."

I felt very skeptical ordering glasses online as I had never done it before. But I'm so glad I did! I will never get my glasses from my optometrist again. I got myself and my son a pair of glasses each for less than $30 and we get compliments on them all the time. I also ordered myself a pair of sunglasses for less than $20 and as someone who has worn glasses their whole life and never been able to wear sunglasses, this was honestly life changing!

I have worn glasses for over 55 years. This is the first place that has fitted me perfectly! It was easy to go through the website and follow each step. I really liked the way you could put your picture in there and "try on" virtually each pair of glasses you thought would work for yourself! Hubby and I ordered at the same time and what a deal of a price for both! Will order more from this awesome company!

Tip for consumers:
I'm nearly 70 years old and was able to order with only one thing (and that was to measure the distance between the pupils of my eyes) but the tools to do that was included on this site!

I am so very happy with my glasses. The frames are lightweight yet strong and durable. I also got the tint coating that gets dark out side and gets lighter indoors and transition glasses have come a long way cause even though they are dark as you leave a sunny outdoors and enter a inside room; "you can still see!" I like these glasses, however, the "Amber" color they are suppose to change to in the sun is not very dark! I wanted these for an upcoming Cancun vacation. Also, they really don't look amber. I've always been happy with my purchases; but I have had three corneal surgeries, and I think my PD is off now - again... I may need to send these back after my next eye doctor appointment for an exchange.

We were sorry to read that the lenses do not get very dark, and that their color does not appear to be amber. In addition, we were also sorry to read that the pupillary distance (PD) seems off. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We see that you used a dual PD on this order, o4140052796, 30.5 millimeters for each eye. For the two orders you placed most recently prior to this one, o3243245192, placed on September 1,2021, and o3241199813, placed on September 1,2020, you used dual PDs of 31 mm (right eye, OD) and 31.5 mm (left eye, OS). Insofar as you posted this review within the order’s 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, if you do not contact us again until after you return from your vacation, this order still will be covered under the warranty. If you were to email us a picture of the lenses after they have been outside in the direct sunlight for approximately 5 minutes, at service@zennioptical.com, and if you put your order number, o4140052796, in the subject line of the email, we will be happy to peruse the picture to see if the lenses look amber and if they seem dark enough. We want to confirm that our generic photochromic feature works best under optimum conditions, when it is sunny and cold outside, and that the lenses should get approximately 50-60 percent dark. This is an update to my Zenni Bad Prescription review.
Briefly: Got a 2nd pair of glasses from Zenni to match my original prescription. Left lens of Zenni was blurry. My optician found an error. Zenni didn't agree. Only got about half my money back.
Sent SAME prescription to Eye-Buy-Direct and they came back perfect.
PLUS, since my prescription is a little different Eye-Buy-Direct even called me to verify the prescription.
Cheaper is not always the best way to go.

The order process was fairly easy although I did not find the website real intuitive. I did have to email Customer Service for site use clarification. Was kept informed about order process and delivery. Received glasses with a plastic case that didn't clasp shut and a little laser that did not work, changed the battery, still didn't work. I trashed both items. The glasses and prescription are great, I wear them everyday and am thinking of ordering another pair. I would strongly recommend.

It's time for me to give this company a review. I (at different times) have ordered at least 4 pairs of glasses from Zenni and they have all been amazing. The quality is phenomenal! Ordering from the web site is easy, convenient and the prices are always affordable! I couldn't get this type of satisfaction from walking into my local optometry office. I'd used Zenni about 4 years ago. Then I'd found them cost effective and very professiona.My prescription changed so after all this time, as a trial, I ordered one pair reading and one distance. I was so satisfied with everything that I've ordered two more pairs ( distance and bi-focal) and plan on ordering a couple more. I just like having backup and different glasses for different situations. Hope they continue to maintain.

I received the new glasses in the promised period of time but the eye prescription was wrong. It was my fault but not sure how it happened as I've enjoyed ZENNI glasses for a few years now. Anyway I called customer service and she walked me through the return process and provided a $100 voucher toward the new pair. She sent a shipping label and I returned them right away. I felt insecure about choosing glasses virtually. I'm using them and getting used to them. They're bifocals, and the smaller lens is a smaller diameter than it was on my last pair. This changes how I navigate reading and other things, and I'm not sure how I like it. They seem to be good quality, though, and the price was very affordable. I'm not fully sold on this method for buying glasses. But I will probably experiment again.

This company is reliable, time sufficient, I always manage to get my glasses within a week of ordering. They have almost always been the exact pair I paid for... the bad measurements were my fault. Anywho, I love this company. Super affordable and they have tons of frames to choose from, just be sure to get the correct measurements unlike me haha. Ok so I bought 3 PAIRS of glasses from zenni and I also paid extra for 8-12 dayvshipping ( I believe).
So, I placed my order on 9/29 and I paid over 20 bucks from r expedited shipping.
Now after waiting patiently, I reached out to a virtual operator… He reassured me that my shipping fees would be fully refunded and that he would escalate my complaint.
Mighty funny, that after my complaint… my order was shipped out that same night! So needless to say, I will be following up on my shipping refund... but… I do love the glasses… it's principalities involved at this point.

I had no problem with returning my initial pair of glasses. I contacted customer service via online chat and explained my reason for return and I was told I would receive 100% credit that could be applied to my reorder. I followed the return instructions given and kept track via USPS and the transaction went smoothly without any glitches.

Typically, bifocals (lenses with two areas of focus separated by a visible line) would cost more at Zenni because there are some single vision lenses that are free on our website but there are no free bifocal lenses. The cost of our bifocal lenses starts at $17. Additionally, there are tints and other features that, if selected, will affect the cost of your glasses. Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses. Despite the period of adaptation needed, we are happy to report that we do not receive a disproportionate number of complaints about our progressive lenses. However, we don't ever want to assume that needing time to adjust to the lenses is the only reason a customer could be having difficulty with their glasses; consequently, if you have recently purchased progressive lenses, and have problems seeing clearly through them, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-211-2105.
